KalmAid Gel
Used alone or in conjunction with KalmAid powder. Easily administered by oral syringe, KalmAid Gel helps calm and relax excitable horses in stressful conditions such as sales, traveling, and competition without effecting performance. Contains 5-HTP Extract, Thiamine Hcl, L-Tyrosine and L-phenylalanine.
Give 1 fl. oz. (1/2 syringe) the night before and another 1 fl. oz. 2 hours before stressful activity.
Dose may be adjusted up to 2 fl. oz. (whole syringe) as required.
KalmAid Powder
KalmAidTM For the management of the highly strung competition horse. KalmAid Powder contains a blend of 5-HTP, Vitamin B1, Folic Acid, L-Tryrosine, L-Phenylalanine which act together to help calm excitable horses in stressful conditions such as competition, traveling or loading.
KalmAid Powder may be used daily and in conjunction with KalmAid Gel for extremely difficult cases.
KalmAid powder works by:
Folic Acid - has the ability to reduce the high levels of homocysteine associated with anxiety
Magnesium - eases anxiety by acting as a muscle relaxant
Vitamin B1 - deficiencies in B1 have shown to result in signs of anxiety
5-HTP (5-Hydroxy-Tryptophan) - scientific studies from around the world have shown 5-HTP is the direct precursor to serotonin and helps calm and relax horses in stressful conditions without effecting performance
KalmAid uniquely combines 5-HTP with L-Phenylalananine, L-Tyrosine and Thiamine to help ensure 5-HTP gets to where it is needed, therefore maximizing relaxation and minimizes negative effects.
Dosage may be adjusted as required.
KalmAid powder is available in apple-flavored 3-lb and 50-lb containers with re-sealable bag and measuring scoop.
